In all translation projects, the most important task is to transfer the original meaning and message as well as to obtain an identical meaning in the target language. Therefore, at LIDO-LANG all of our projects are carried out by translators with thorough knowledge and experience in their respective areas of expertise.

Our team comprises carefully selected engineers, technicians, medical practitioners, pharmacists, lawyers and other specialists who are all experts in their respective subject areas, possess international experience and fluent conversationalists in the language of the original texts that they are translating. Furthermore, they always translate into their native language, which means our translations are tailored to the cultural specifics of a given language.

Our translation projects go through a multi-stage process of preparation and control, which is conducted by project managers, translators and proofreaders. Translated texts are carefully verified in terms of language and the subject matter, in turn ensuring an error-free conversion that meets or exceeds the individual client’s expectations. For each of our loyal customers we create their own translation and terminology base, which enables the consistency and coherence of all the translated texts, as well as leading to the saving of both time and money.

We also offer certified and sworn translation services. Certified translations are carried out when the document comprises elements that need to be certified as original and authentic (such as various stamps and signatures). Unless it is required by state or court institutions, the majority of texts undergo a standard translation process, with no need for certification. In such cases, we follow a full realisation process with the appropriate quality control stages.

We provide translations of various texts, including graphical formats. If you want us to retain the original file type of the translated document, please ensure to send us an editable file, such as: Microsoft Office document (MS Word, MS Excel, or MS PowerPoint), InDesign, FrameMaker, QuarkXPress or PageMaker. PDF files are not editable.
