Specialist translations often include the conversions of promotional and information materials, such as books, catalogues, leaflets or various instruction manuals. In such cases, LIDO-LANG provides full-range services – not solely the translation, but also a full DTP service, including layout adjustments. In this way, the client receives a completed project without any further need to collaborate with graphic and other DTP specialists. What is more, the client can also control and influence the process of creating documents as well as have the opportunity to verify and approve the final graphic design of the project.

LIDO-LANG uses the following specialist software:

In order to ensure a full graphic coherence with the original document, please ensure that you send us an open file in one of the above formats. PDF files are not classified as open format.

Auxiliary services

As an answer to our clients’ individual requirements and expectations, LIDO-LANG also offers additional, auxiliary services that are listed, among others, in the EN 15038:2006 Standard. These include: creating Translation Memory data bases, which are based on the alignment of the translated texts with the originals; creating glossaries; updating glossaries and TM data bases; correcting the existing TM and more.
