LIDO-LANG awarded the Quality of the Year 2009 title
The jury of the competition that is organised by the editors of Biznes Raport, which is a part of Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, awarded LIDO-LANG Technical Translations the Quality of the Year 2009 (Jakość Roku 2009) title. LIDO-LANG was the only award winner in the category.
The experts from Polskie Centrum Badań i Certyfikacji arrived at the decision by following the evaluation and review of the submitted documents, concluding that LIDO-LANG attained high standards in the following business areas:
- critical attributes of the technical and specialised text translation service provided by the company;
- management systems in place;
- procedures that ensure the smooth operation of the management systems in place;
- expert resources available;
- effective organisation management;
- customer satisfaction level.
The QUALITY OF THE YEAR 2009 award was presented at the official Grand Finale event in Katowice on 18 February. LIDO-LANG was represented by Chairman of the Board Jerzy Nedoma and Managing Director Andrzej Nedoma.
LIDO-LANG Technical Translations has a long track record of implementing technology and system solutions that streamline workflow and improve service quality. The company holds the ISO 9001 quality certificate, which was awarded in 2005, and the certificate of compliance with EN 15038:2006, the industry standard since 2007. The company purchases or develops technology tools that support the delivery of translation services and enterprise management (XTRF™, CAT tools, and XTM). LIDO-LANG is a keen participant of industry events, and represents Poland in various international organisations and societies. This year, LIDO-LANG Technical Translations co-hosts a conference for the translation market to be held in Krakow.
