LIDO-LANG has been consistently continuing its development strategy, as selected in 2010, in which this time it is particularly focussed on expanding its skilled production department. In the last few months, 7 people have joined the LIDO-LANG team, 6 of which are to support the production department.

Jadwiga Milewska, Bożena Krawczyk, and Joanna Warywoda have taken up Project Managers’ positions and will be responsible for the coordination and management of translation processes. Jadwiga Milewska, an M.A. in Roman Philology from Cracow, linked up as early as in October 2010, and has demonstrated her professionalism and commitment within the past few months. Bożena Krawczyk completed her studies in Russian Philology and Human Resource Management. She has command of the English, Russian, Ukrainian, and Italian languages. Lately, the LIDO-LANG team has also been joined by Joanna Warywoda, a university graduate, majoring in English Philology and American Studies.   

The production department has also been reinforced by Piotr Tomsia, Michał Tęcza, and Mirosława Głuszek, whose responsibility will include text verification and maintaining the high quality of translation projects. Mirosława Głuszek majored in Russian Philology and Russian Studies, and is responsible for Russian-speaking projects. Piotr Tomsia completed his studies in Applied Linguistics at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. He deals mainly with English and French projects, whereas Michał Tęcza, a graduate in German Philology, is responsible for German-speaking projects.

The year 2010 was a time of development and expansion for LIDO-LANG Technical Translations, and the company is planning to continue on the right track and foster further development in 2011 as well.
